Facilities and Accommodations
Camp Pringle has a wide variety of facilities and accommodations, ranging from rustic cabins to comfortable lodge-style accommodations. Being a camp and very affordable, guests provide their own sheets, sleeping bags, pillows and towels.
Rustic Cabins
There are about nine cabins which are very basic with a combination of bunk and flat beds for about 12 occupants each cabin. Cabins have no power or heat and are suitable for kids summer camps. A washroom building with separate male and female units comes with flush toilets and hot showers, located a short walk from the rustic cabins. Two of the cabins are wheel-chair accessible.
Branter Lodge
Branter Lodge offers Camp Pringle’s most modern accommodations. The building sleeps up to 24 people in 12 rooms with 2 flat beds per room. The building has its own small kitchen area and comfortable meeting room / lounge. There’s also a private back-year with picnic table, giving groups extra options in the warmer weather.
Having its own kitchen and living area makes it ideal for private retreats and small reunions.
Spencer Hall
Spencer Hall is the large modern building at the centre of the property that houses the camp’s commercial kitchen, dining room, administrative office and main meeting room. It’s a beautiful building constructed in a modern West Coast-style, with a basketball court out front and a spectacular view of the lake.
The dining room itself is actually quite stunning, with large windows, an outside deck, views of the lake and a high vaulted ceiling. Camp Pringle has a fully-outfitted commercial kitchen, requiring Food-Safe certification, and we have our own in-house caterer: WestCoast Catering.
Downstairs Spencer includes one other large meeting room with piano, used for band practices, arts and crafts meetings, wedding parties etc. We also have a special rental suite downstairs, the Grace Suite, used as a Honeymoon Suite for wedding rentals and/or for families or admin groups who want some extra privacy.
Laura Butler Lodge
Laura Butler Lodge is one of the original Pringle buildings, with 6 dorm-style rooms that sleep up to 36 people – six occupants per room – plus a 3 bedroom suite downstairs for another 8 visitors. The Lodge can hold a total of 44 occupants.
Most of the rooms in Laura Butler have bunk beds with mattresses, on which people provide their own sleeping bags, pillows, or other bedding. All six dorm-rooms have lakeside views and screen-windows. Laura Butler Lodge also has a nice upstairs lounge with piano and blackboard, and a small lounge in the downstairs suite, as well as shared washrooms with flush toilets and hot showers.
